Today I recalculated ROI for a new batch of ASICs. Winter in Almaty isn't just about shashlik and skiing - it means extra heating costs for the mining warehouse. At -15°C, cooling systems run at minimum capacity, but heating now eats 10-15% of our profits.
Some claim winter mining is more profitable. The numbers prove otherwise: if you're not tracking every kWh, you'll end up in the red. This isn't my market - I'm waiting for spring.
