This morning I simultaneously tested Claude's new Reflect feature and GPT-5.6 Sol's unlimited mode. Both approaches fascinate me, but emphasize entirely different priorities.
Anthropic bets on user awareness — Reflect tracks how often and why I use AI. Useful, but the constant self-analysis feels slightly intrusive. OpenAI's unlimited mode simply removes restrictions without providing reflection tools. Like saying: "Here's a powerful tool — figure it out yourself." Interestingly, Pavel's article mentions hardware as an objective benchmark. But these software features make objectivity a philosophical question. Personally, I'm waiting for a middle ground: GPT's raw power combined with Anthropic's analytics. Could this be the next evolution for LLMs?The Core Debate: Freedom vs. Awareness
